  TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
  
     CENTRAL AND EASTERN ARKANSAS                           
     NORTHERN LOUISIANA                           
                      
  
  EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING FROM 1005 PM UNTIL
  400 AM CST.
  
   ...THIS IS A PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION...
   
  DAMAGING TORNADOES...LARGE HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...
  THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE
  POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.
  
  THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 120 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST
  OF A LINE FROM 50 MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF MERIDIAN MISSISSIPPI TO
  40 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST OF ANDERSON SOUTH CAROLINA.
  
  REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
  TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA. 
  PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THREATENING
  WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS AND POSSIBLE
  WARNINGS.
  DISCUSSION...CLUSTER OF TORNADIC SUPERCELLS OVER CENTRAL AR AND
  IS EXPECTED TO MAINTAIN INTENSITY AND TRACK EASTWARD
  ACROSS WESTERN TN DURING THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.  INSTABILITY/SHEAR
  PARAMETERS REMAIN FAVORABLE FOR SIGNIFICANT/DAMAGING TORNADOES OVER
  THIS REGION...AS WELL AS LOCALLY DAMAGING WINDS.
  
  AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
  SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 2 INCHES.  EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE WIND
  GUSTS TO 60 KNOTS.  A FEW CUMULONIMBI WITH MAXIMUM TOPS TO 500.
