Winter Storm Ivy also known as the superstorm of 2016/Superstorm Ivy, will be a exceptionally powerful winter storm and severe weather event that would affect the Midwestern United States, Great Plains, Southeastern United States, the Eastern Seaboard, and parts of Ontario. The storm started on February 14, will claim at least 371 lives, and will disrupt air travel entirely. In the Southeastern and Central United States, there were 96 reported tornadoes on February 15-17 2016. it will be the same setup and weather system as the 2009 North American Christmas blizzard , but more devastating and much more powerful.
