Tropical Storm Hermine was a Strong Tropical Storm that affected Florida.

History[]

Hermine started out as a invest that brought heavy rain to Puerto Rico and the USVI. It moved towards the Bahamas and on August 26 became Tropical Storm Hermine. While in the Bahamas Hermine reached winds of 60mph and then landfalled around Miami. It moved out into the Gulf of Mexico and turned north and peaked at 65mph and moved into the Big Bend at that strength. Hermine then moved back out to sea and hit 50MPH before making a final landfall in South Carolina and it dissipated on the 31st

Hermine caused some flooding throughout all the areas affected. Some winds knocked over weak tress and some shingles fell off of roofs. Hermine killed 7 people and caused $19 Million dollars in Damages.
