The Big One (Earthquake)

The Big One was a 10.5 earthquake that hit Los Angeles, California. It caused tremendous amounts of damage to the city. The earthquake lasted ten seconds, but collapsed many of the skyscrapers and killed 5,000 people. The area was uninhabitable for weeks.
