A teleporticane is a rare type of hurricane with the ability to teleport to different locations, usually in order to avoid unfavorable environments. A teleporticane forms similar to a normal hurricane, and has similar effects, but can teleport at any time during its existence, even after landfall.
Teleporticanes cannot be identified until they teleport, so all people living in all locations should be worried about them. They are tracked like normal hurricanes; however, 1 in 1 million named storms are teleporticanes on average.
In 3092, Teleporticane Larry formed off the African coast, but as it entered an unfavorable environment, Larry teleported off the East Coast and made a Sandy-like landfall in New Jersey as an extratropical category 2 hurricane.
