A category 5 super typhoon is approaching a very hot band of water. It intensifies into a C8 on July 17, but it has a surprise in store. By the 20th it has winds approaching 855 mph. By landfall, it's a C3, but it causes huge amounts of damage. The name Jose was retired for a typhoon name and will never be used again. The name Clark was used to replace Jose.
