Hurricane Hannah was the eighth named storm, fourth hurricane, and the second major hurricane of the 2088 Atlantic Hurricane Season. Hurricane Hannah was a majorly active Category 4 storm which, at verge of Category 5 intensity, weakened instead. This was the first time a hurricane weakened just before it could achieve Category 5 status since Hurricane Igor of 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
