Season summary[]
By the 10th millenium, runaway climate change has made hypercanes a common occurence. Hypercanes are tropical cyclones with windspeeds of 500 miles per hour and a minimum pressure of 70 kilopascals (700 millibars).
The season began with Hypercane Ana, a hypercane that did not affect land whatsoever. Then, Hypercane Bill caused $700 billion dollars of damage and 500,000 deaths to Mexico and the Gulf Coast. The parade of destruction kept going with Hypercanes Claudette, Dango and then Erin causing $725 billion and 500,000 deaths on the U.S. East Coast.
