The 2155 eruption of Ambang was a violent VEI 6 rated Plinian eruption that occurred during the Summer/Autumn months of 2155. The eruption began on June 18th, and ran until its conclusion on October 12th, killing 14 people, injuring 135 others, and causing $335 million in damages. IN addition, the global temperatures were cooled by 0.6*C, which led to cooler than average temperatures worldwide for the next 2 years or so after the eruption ended.
