The 2006 Atlantic hurricane season was a very active atlantic hurricane season. Producing 21 depressions, 18 of them became named storms, and only 3 became hurricanes, with no major. The three hurricanes, two which were Category 2s, were Beryl, Florence, and Nadine. Florence and Nadine were the only Category 2s, and were the strongest storms of the season.
